LINEN – FLATWORK

• Knowhow of using Ironer machines.
• Able to differentiate between types & sizes of linen as different ironer machine caters to different linen. Egs of small items: Napkin, pillowcase & etc. Egs of big items: Tablecloth, bed sheet & etc.
• Ensure that the lines are free from tangle and in good condition before putting through the flatwork machines.
• Able to use tying machines to tie up stacked & folded linens.

LINEN – TOWEL

• Knowhow of using Towel Folding machines.
• Know the correct steps to fold towels manually.
• Able to differentiate between small & big items. Egs of small items: Hand towel, face towel & etc. Egs of big items: Bath towel, pool towel & etc.

LINEN – WASHING

• Know the right methods & chemicals to remove stubborn stains such as rust stain, lipstick, blood stain & etc.
• Able to sort the linen according to colour.
• Know how to use tunnel washers & washing machines.

GARMENT

• Knowledge in using marking machines, sorting, washing machines, ironing hot steam, folding, packing & etc.
• Detailed enough to notice any stain, torn, discoloration on the garment. Responsive & fast action to inform Supervisor about any defects.
