As a Course Marshal, you will be trained and undergo job rotation as Buggy Steward, Starter and Course Marshal.

- Patrol the golf course to ensure that the play is smooth and regulated with no serious hold-up by slow play.
- Observe and check on members and guests dress code, course etiquette, conduct and behavior on the golf course.
- Ensure that members and guests display their golf tags.
- Check on caddie’s dress code, conduct and behavior.
- Provide assistance in case of any emergency on the golf course.
- Ensure that walkie-talkie provided is operational at all times.
- Upkeep and maintain the Club ambulance buggy and Marshal’s buggy in clean and serviceable condition.
- Load and unload at the golf bag drop area
- Communicate with golfers on their tee times and the courses they are playing to ensure that the golf bags are loaded on to the right buggies
- Tag the golf bags correctly
- Clean the golfers’ golf clubs after they finish their games
- Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of the Golfers’ Buggies –
- Check conditions before issuing to golfers
- Prepare for play eg. testing brakes, check tyres, sand-bottles, score cards, tees, ball and club washers, cooler boxes etc
- Sanitization and washing and polishing (whenever necessary)
- Send replacement buggies to the golf course when required
- Follow up on buggy accidents for repairs
- Ensure no personal belongings are left behind after golfers return the buggies and before they are sent for wash. Unclaimed personal belongings to be forwarded to lost and found
- Report to the duty executive / manager on any damages to the buggies and / or valuables found on the buggies in a timely manner
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
