The IT Support maintains the computer networks, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly. IT Support monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities: -

Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners

Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks

Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests

Provide technical support across the companywide (this may be in person or over the phone)

Set up accounts for new users including but not limiting to new computer hardware

Repair and replace equipment as necessary

Test new technology (if necessary)

Train new users
The IT Support shall actively be reviewing ticketing systems, identify the nature of request and respond to them swiftly.
The IT Support shall work in team under the supervision of managers to ensure all end-users are supported with streamlines downtime in the daily operations.
- Diploma or Professional certification in Information Technology (IT) or equivalent training
- Additional training in areas of network security, latest technology and application would be advantages
- Well-versed in MS Office suites and similar applications
- Good hands-on skills with troubleshooting and debugging
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work in fast-pace work setup
- Energetic, resourceful and forward thinking
IT Support shall be expected to work in the office (full-time) and also perform remote support by using Microsoft TEAM or other company approved communication media to perform helpdesk support.
IT Support must be very familiar with all fundamental IT setups that could include: -
- Set up new users for all types of computer system
- Common network / infrastructure problems
- Perform general troubleshooting, debug and advise on rectification
- Understand common IT terminologies
The IT Support may be required to help out in documentations that relate to IT policies, governance control, setting up instructional guides and operational flow instructions.
Ad hoc projects and work improvements initiatives may be expected through the course of employment.
